Review:

When out on a Saturday night, my main priorities always lie with having good company and a good pint of cider. After a depressing defeat in the football, I needed the good cider more than anything. Where else could I possibly turn, but to a swift cider session at the Bristol Cider House?! I knew I just needed a Richs Farmhouse cider and a pack of pork scratchings to help ease the pain.

This cider is definitely one of my session ciders of choice. The taste is similar to Thatchers Traditional, but has so much more flavour and depth to it. I wouldn’t say it is a long lasting taste, but it does have that bite that hits the back of the throat. It’s slightly on the dry side, but not in a bad way. Even if I couldn’t remember how the night ended, I always knew it started so well with having this lovely cider.

Update 14/12/12: Easy drinking, sweet to begin before the drier, sour acidic bite takes you. A good cider, but not in the same league as your Wilkins or West Croft

Would I buy this again?: Yes
Overall Rating: 8/10
