Review:

Having previously enjoyed Orchards Blakeney Red perry, I was keen to see if their cider had as much bite as the perry did. I always love a drink where there is never an easy ride with it and you feel challenged and want to come back for more. After all, would you rather go on a safe roundabout ride or a highly exciting rollercoaster? For me that is a no brainer!

So anyway onto the cider; it is a fairly acidic cider which gives you a nice burning sensation to the back of the throat, though at the same time it feels a fairly smooth cider, but the acidity is just an overtone to this. I found the cider tingled and tangled you but there wasn’t a deep taste to it and the experience isn’t one that seems to last too long though as I found it only lingered for a few seconds. Overall if I was going to go on the rollercoaster analogy, then it would be similar to Oblivion. It isn’t a long lasting and not to everyones taste, but I fairly enjoyed it and would go for it again.
