Review/Tasting Notes:

Purchased From: Lazy Dog
Date: 14/07/12

A trip to the Lazy Dog is always a pleasurable experience. Usually it’s just before Bristol Rovers stress me out, but today it was just after a nice festival at the Royal Oak. It’s quite interesting this was served in what was the equivalent of a jam jar with a handle. Interesting idea.

If you have ever had a Millwhites Rioja Cask, then think similar but without as strong an acidity to it. It’s got a nice slight sweet taste that turns to a sexy dry feel. It’s a cider that keeps on giving and puts your mouth on a ride it deserves. The tannins are good, the after taste is great and I really love this stuff. I will definitely be back for more. Could this be better on a draught?

Update 18/08/12: Still as good as ever. Smooth sexy farmhouse taste. Moreish, but dangerous at 7.5%

Update 15/09/12: Just had the draught straight from the farm shop and wow it’s that slight notch better. More acidic but it’s damn amazing. A really decent cider.

Would I buy this again?: Yes

Overall Rating: 9/10
