So free tickets to a foodies festival and first thing I aim for? Got to be the cider of course! The Dorset Cider House were selling all goods thing from Dorset and what took my eyes was the cider from Rogers. A Furzecutter sounds an awesome name and so I was sold.

It’s a gorgeous cider with a firm but fair acidic touch with a nice aftertaste. Reminds me of the Millwhites Rioja Cask in some ways. Possibly too harsh an acidic burn for some, but it suits me down to the ground as I love a bit of rough once in a while. It’s just a beautiful farmhouse scrumpy that tastes straight from the barrel. Oo arrrr

Update 29/09/12: Slightly less acidic than last time, but has a nice bite to it and a sour finish. Very enjoyable and interesting. Definitely worth trying

Would I buy this again?: Yes

Overall Rating: 8.5/10
