Whilst on the latest cider trip in Somerset, we had to do a trip to Ben Crossman. After loving the Home Orchard Special previously, I thought I’d try something different this time, so I went for the Prime Farmhouse Medium.

This feels similar to the Home Orchard Special in that it gives you the nice mild burning sensation to the back of the throat from the acidity, but it also has a slightly sweeter side too. Thankfully it’s not a sickly sweet, but it just gives it a bit of balance. There is some bitterness too, but slightly less than the Home Orchard Special.

Overall I do like this cider and a really top medium cider that mixes acidity and mild sweetness well. It felt like a party in my mouth while drinking this and definitely well worth trying.

Would I buy this again?: Yes

Overall Rating: 8/10
