When off to my local, The Penny Farthing, the cider of choice has to be the Westons Traditional Scrumpy. Firstly it’s because it’s the only real cider usually there, but also as it is a pleasant cider.

Westons for me make a good all round cider consistently, but there is never any wow factor really with them. This one doesn’t really change that either. It feels like a slightly toned down Old Rosie. It has a nice smooth fruity taste, but also slightly sour too. It’s simple, uncomplicated and an easy drinking cider. The taste comes and goes fairly quickly with this, so you don’t have a lot to savour.

Would I buy this again?: Possibly
