I was having another cider clear out and I have come across a Welsh Mountain Cider I bought last year. The bottle is very distinctive, with a nice arty finish, which does make the bottle look classy. It’s a shame it’s only in 330ml in size, as surely a 500ml should be a minimum 😉 This particular one was their 2009 Dabinett variety, is made from 100% apple juice and unpasteurised.

The smell is of a bit of musky apples and not a bad smell. Not hugely amazing but pleasant. As for the taste, it’s fairly crisp, slight dry touch and a little bitterness to go with some sourness. It just feels a bit watery if I’m honest and not too long lasting in taste. It’s not amazing but not bad either. There’s lots I prefer to this, but still pleasant and maybe I’d have once in a while.

Would I buy this again?: Possibly
