I’ve had a really slack week with the new cider reviews haven’t I. Trying to find the time lately to actually sit down and do a review has proved quite troublesome. However, today is the day I can sit back and relax and crack open a bottle of something new. Today that is the Dry cider from Lawrences

Taste: Medium
Served: Lightly chilled 500ml bottle
Smell: Sweet apples
Colour: Copper
Clarity: Clear
Carbonation: Lightly sparkling

I’ve been a bit quiet on the new cider front again, which is mainly down to not getting my hands on anything new lately. That’s a bit of laziness on my part, as I could have gone to a cider farm or 2, however I had too many things to pack into last weekend and that one got the cut this time. Luckily the Bristol Cider Shop came to my rescue and I’ve found a couple more new ciders to keep me going for a few days. Up tonight is the Gwatkin Original Dry Cider.

Wed 20th March: 5pm-11pm (£2.50)
Thu 21st March: 11am-11pm (Free before 3pm/£2.50 after 3pm)
Fri 22nd March: 11am-11pm (£2.50 before 3pm/£3.50 after 3pm)
Sat 23rd March: 11am-10pm (£2.50 before 5pm/Free after 5pm)

Tickets: Available on the door.

Concessions: Free admission all periods upon showing a valid CAMRA membership card.

Festival glass: The festival glass will be available in half pint goblet and tankards marked at 1/3 and 1/2 pint measure and pint straight, lined at 1/2 and pint, oversized and priced at £2.50. This is refundable when you have finished as long as the glass is not damaged.
