Tickets: N/A for the beer/cider festival. If you wish to use the train lines, it is £20 for Saturday and £15 on both the Friday or Sunday.

AT THE STATIONS

Tunbridge Wells West

• The main festival location, inside the engine shed with most of the real ale & cider.
• Trains to High Rocks, Groombridge & Eridge.
• Our renowned & extremely popular BBQ taking place inside the engine shed serving locally produced burgers, sausages & bacon rolls!
• Evening entertainment on the Friday & Saturday nights.
• Access to the main festival itself is free.
• Ticket office, toilets and main departure point of train services.
• Viewing gallery at the end of the main platform to watch the trains arrive & depart
• Station shop stocking a large variety of railway and children’s produce.

High Rocks

• Access to the famous High Rocks or Tea Garden Lane which can provide great photographic opportunities.
• High Rocks Inn and Garden.
• A great place to watch the trains from the Inns garden.
• Please note that Evening & Shuttle trains will not serve High Rocks.

Groombridge

• Re-furbished and re-opened Old Station Building, only in use since April 2014!
• Trains crossing over all three days (Please note, you can only change trains to catch the one you are passing if travelling towards Eridge)
• Shuttle service to Tunbridge Wells West on the Saturday.
• Real ale & cider available on the station platform (Saturday & Sunday only)
• Groombridge Signal Box in use, visit the signal box to see it in action for only the 2nd time this year!
• Award winning curry available from the Raj Pavallion Indian restaurant based in Royal Tunbridge Wells (Saturday and Sunday only)

Eridge

• Mainline connections with Southern services to Central London, East Croydon, Oxted (change for East Grinstead) and Uckfield.
• Real ale and cider on sale in the Waiting Room (days TBC) along with snacks, hot and cold drinks.
• Locomotives detaching and arriving into Eridge Bay from the departing train, trains to Groombridge, High Rocks & Tunbridge Wells West.

OTHER REFRESHMENTS

‘Kate’

Our award winning on train bar will be open all three days from the first trains departure to the last trains arrival, this includes the Friday and Saturday evening Real Ale Trains. ‘Kate’ will be open for the sale of real ale and cider from the first departure to the last arrival, sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and other light refreshments will be available all day.

‘Emily’

Our ex BIG TSO (RB) from unit No.2254 (Buffet Brighton, B for Buffet and IG the LB&SCR telegraphic code for Brighton) will be open on all three days serving pies and pasties as well as hot & cold drinks and light snacks.

The fares listed below are for Day Rover Tickets which will allow unlimited travel on the day itself, this means you can visit the main festival at Tunbridge Wells & also travel to our other stations of Groombridge & Eridge where further Real Ale and Cider will be available to purchase!

Evening Services

We will be running our popular services between Tunbridge Wells West & Eridge late into the evening for those wishing to stay until the end of the festival both days, travel on these trains is included in the price of a Rover ticket.
Alternatively if you’re just visiting us for the evening then it is only £5 to travel between Tunbridge Wells West & Eridge. Entry to the Beer Festival at Tunbridge Wells West is FREE!

Friday Evening
Curry Buffet in association with the Raj Pavalion

A buffet style curry will be available from our award winning bar car ‘Kate’. There will be a range of curry’s to suit all tastes and is sure to be popular! Other delights available will be pilau rice, onion bhaji’s and of course nann bread to go with your curry. Tickets are just £10 for day rover ticket holders (£15 if requiring travel) with limited availability so book now at the bottom of this page to avoid disappointment!

The first departure from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells West is at 10:15.

Saturday

The first departure from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge is at 08:30.
The first departure from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells West is at 09:15.

Sunday

The first departure from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge is at 09:30.

• English Electric top and tail Real Ale Train on the Friday night with Class 37 37254 at the Tunbridge Wells end and Class 73 73140 at the Eridge end.
• Top & Tail Sulzers on the Saturday evening Real Ale Train using Class 26 26038 on the Tunbridge Wells West end with visiting Class 33 33063 on the Eridge end.
• Visiting steam locomotive ‘Walkden’ or resident ‘Ugly’ in action on the Sunday.
• Late evening trains on both the Friday and Saturday with bars open until the end!
