Event Information:

Celebrate five centuries of apple growing and taste varieties dating back to the 1500s at Kent Life Heritage Farm Park’s annual Apple and Cider Fayre on October 7 and 8.

Kent Life prides itself on having more than 60 varieties of apple and pickers will be out in the orchards just days before the festival so that you can buy the fruit fresh and crunchy.

You can even see the traditional process of apple pressing to make delicious juice. Apples are cut, crushed and pulped then squeezed in Kent Life’s giant press dating from the Victorian era.

There will be live and local music and a thirst-quenching array of ciders which represent the very best in Kent production. Watch demonstrations, take a tour and see what’s on offer at a wide range of craft and produce stalls.

On both days, local Morris teams will show off their fancy footwork plus there will be all the usual Kent Life favourites. Enjoy a ride on a tractor or the land train; meet the animals in Cuddle Corner and take a stroll around the Vintage Village.

Don’t forget to pick up your FREE apple cookbook to discover old-fashioned recipes that make the most of one of our favourite fruits.
