Nick,
We enjoyed your review of the International Craft Cider Festival and we
as West Country Cider Mugs (www.cidermugs.co.uk) were the people you bought the Cider Mug from. I agree it was one of the more expensive mugs but in fairness we only make a very tiny profit on what we sell due to whatever the individual potter charges. (More fool us). Our intention however is to cultivate our interest, make a small profit as a sideline and at the same time introduce as many different hand thrown cider mugs to enthusiasts as possible, and so far we have been quite encouraged with the response.
We thought the Festival was extremely well organised but very poorly attended. We took quite a hit once accommodation,(no, we didn’t camp), travelling, site costs etc were taken into account but then have no regrets about being there as it was great fun. We also sold quite a lot of mugs.
Having now seen our set up can you think of any events within striking distance of North Dorset we should go to.

You should try the new Telltale Cider by McWilliams Wines, I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts, as you seem to know your cider! Cheers Red
