After the indifferent experience of the Tutts Clump Traditional Farmhouse Perry, I wanted to bring my evening up to a high note and thought there was no better way than to try a cider from a consistently good producer. Up steps a cider from Ross-On-Wye, which happens to be their single variety (SV) Balls Bittersweet cider.

I had run my cider shelves dry of proper real cider/perry and a trip to the Bristol Cider Shop was needed to tide me over for a few days. My trips there are becoming increasingly more difficult to find something new and today was no different. After scrambling round the shelves they came up trumps again. 6 new ciders/perries were found and one of them is up today for a review. I closed my eyes and hoped for the best and up came the Tutts Clump Traditional Farmhouse Perry (Medium/Dry).

After a lovely day in yesterday sampling the 3 new Ross-On-Wye ciders, today I unfortunately had to go back to work to the world of the living. That wasn’t the worst thing in the world and now I’m about to have a BBQ and crack open another new cider. This time it is the Cidre Breton from Guillet.
