Virtual Orchard Hard Core Review

Region: Buckinghamshire
ABV: 7%
Taste: Medium
Served: Chilled half-pint
Smell: Apple
Colour: Golden
Clarity: Clear
Carbonation: Still

Review:

Well what can I say about Virtual Orchard? They are probably the only cider/perry producer in Buckinghamshire and the current gold winner in the cider of the year championships, with their ‘Hard Core’ cider. Though, when I tried this cider, they were just another unknown cider producer and thus I didn’t just choose to drink it because it was a ‘winner’.

Moores Perry Review

Vital Stats:

Producer: Moores
Perry Name: Perry
Region: Gloucestershire
ABV: 6%
Taste: Medium/Sweet
Served: Chilled half-pint
Smell: Fruity
Colour: Very light straw
Clarity: Cloudy
Carbonation: Still

Review:

As I was at a cider and perry festival, then it would be rude to not try perry whilst I was there! I can’t say I am the biggest perry fan, as cider is what i crave, but I do like perry once in a while to mix things up a bit. There wasn’t a huge choice to choose from, but of the ones I hadn’t had before, I opted for the Moores perry. I had never heard of Moores perry before, despite being localish to me (based in Gloucestershire), and I still don’t know too much about them now either as I can’t find anything on the internet about them. Does anyone have any more information on them?
